problems with update

ihave download the update from impuls for sins of solar empire v1.13

when now i start the game stands overall 'string not found'

Why???

In Impulse, try right clicking the game icon and hitting "Verify installation."

Did you have a non-English version? Impulse installs the English version of the patch, and the english string file, which would be the reason why everything is showing as string not found. I'm not sure if SD ever got the 1.1 patch for other languages on Impulse, or Kalypso did somewhere..

Try this;

Open the System Registry and go to hkey_local_machine\software\stardock\drengin.net\sins section and change the language key to English.
