uploading name changed blinds

Okay, so I made a blind and called it "whatever". when I was finished I decided to change the name to "awesome blind". My attempt to do this was to copy the blind via the SKS6 interface which got my blind rejected as it now contained "whatever" and "awesome blind" files.

the note from WC was, Will not install properly.
The reason for this is that the .wba contains multiple '.uis' files. (aluminex.uis, base.uis~ and alimunex.uis~)
Rename the file to 'aluminex.zip' and remove all of the files with '~' in the exstension - rename back to aluminex.wba, and resubmit.

Um, I guess this makes sense but it sounds easier to just remake the blind,,, s'not.

I went back to the "whatever" blind and made a WBA file of it and thought, "what the hell, I'll just change the visual style name when I upload it". didn't seem to work and also didn't appear to appreciate my uploading the jpg that had been entitled "awesome blind", I had to rename it also.

So, the question is, is there an easy way for me to change the name of a blind after completion as when I start on a blind I usually don't have a name to give it??? am I making sense here???

I don't know if this will help you or not.  I make both XP and Vista versions of my blinds.  What I do, is make the XP version  in SKS 5 first, using a working title, such as a letter or a number.  When I am completely done with the XP version, I then do a save as in SKS 5...this will allow you to change the name, and will also get rid of all of the leftover luna crap from the file.

Then I import the XP version as a substyle into SKS 6, and then make my Vista version....

I was told that with Vista, you should really have your name decided on when you start the blind.  Like you, Inever know what the name of my blind is gonna be until I build it....If you don't make XP versions, then I don't know what you can do....maybe someone else will chime in and help with that.
