Problems connecting to secondary

I have used Multiplicity before. I had a desktop as the primary and a laptop as the secondary. They were both running Vista and working perfectly.

Last month, I guess two months ago now, right after Christmas I got a new Vista laptop and tried to make my primary to connect after installing the new software on both computers, but no luck. I just got a new desktop two days ago.

I have now reinstalled Multiplicity on both my desktop and my laptop. Set the desktop as the primary and the laptop as the secondary. When I go to connect to my laptop if does the loading thing where it looks like it is going to connect, but then all of the sudden stops. It looks like it is connected, but still does not let me control my laptop.

When I had Multiplicity before the new computers, the icon on the bottom of my computer would be black when not connected and red when connected. After I try to connect it stays black.

Any help would greatly be appreciated as Multiplicity saves me a ton of time.

I had my brother come and lok at it and he got it all working.

I have a desktop at my office and laptop at my house. Then I have another laptop that I take between the two places.

Is there any way to my my laptop a secondary to two different computers at different locations?

Sure, just add an entry for it in the primary machine at both locations.  If you're using a password though you'll have to make sure it's the same at both locations, or that you change it when you move from one to the other.
