Ultimate Edition includes Dread Lords, Dark Avatar, and Twilight of the Arnor.

As long as you also make a Stardock.net account and use Impulse, you will be able to update the game as new versions get released.

I have Galactic Civ Gold Edition, so all I am missing is Twilight of the Arnor. Should I just buy TA, or does the Ultimate Edition contain any extras that would justify buying Ultimate instead.
No, it does not. It's simply DL+DA+TA bundled.
As opposed to the Music folder in the program directory...?
