Fences - Desktop background enabled when connecting via VNC

Hiya.

Just downloaded Fences and I really really like it and appreciate your effort. Just one thing: I use to connect via VNC to my home computer and have the option "Remove Wallpaper for viewers", because it saves a lot of bandwidth and speeds things up a lot. I noticed that Fences keeps the background enabled and was wondering if it's possible to fix that.
