Waypoints, yeah?

Hey all,

For some reason, the search function on the forums isn't working for me, and a google search of the forums turned up nothing either. Any way...

I read that there are 'infinite' waypoint capabilities in the game, but i am unsure how to set them. Ships have a tendency of taking lanes you don't want them to take in order to reach a desired destination. I am just curious if we can map their path manually without having to micro their direction?

Yes; hold shift and click which planets you want them to go to.  They will visit each planet in the order you selected them, allowing you to define the path you want to take.

Yeah, that's invaluable.  Sometimes, you want to control where in the target gravity well you want to arrive, so specifying the position of your departure can be a big help.
