Just finished downloading the game using Impulse, but when I try to run it nothing happens. Can't launch it from the command line either; just returns to the prompt. Verified the installation, rebooted, still no change.
Any advice on how I can diagnose this? Maybe a switch I can pass on the command line to get more output?
Found a workaround using FileMon.. Looks like Demigod.exe was loading the following DLL:
C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\LOGISHRD\LVMVFM\LVPRCINJ.DLL
Not sure why it was trying to load this file (some kind of process injection?), and not sure if it was installed as a result of my mouse driver or webcam... Renamed the directory and everything works great.
Hopefully will help anyone else having this issue.
Logitech webcams (or their TSRs, more exactly) are known to cause startup issues with Moho Engine games in general (Supreme Commander and Demigod).
