Windows 7 beta - No Joy

Won't run on Windows 7 64bit

I cant get the game to run on Windows 7 Beta - 64bit.  The games load to the launch panel, I can get through the game setup dialog, but the programs hang when you try to launch the game. Runs nice on Windows Vista 32bit.

The base game DL ran fine for me on the default Win 7 64-bit drivers, but neither expansion pack would. I installed the Vista 64bit Graphics Drivers onto Win 7 and got both DA and TA to play. I have had TA crash a couple of times, but on both occasions it was after it had been running for 6+ hours, during which I switched focus back and forth to it repeatedly. So I'd say it's decently stable. I have also had no problem with any other games since switchig the drivers.

Was this fullscreen or windowed?

I had an issue ages ago (obviously not in 7) where GC2 would crash on me due to alt tabbing out constantly from fullscreen-after I switched to windowed it went away.

I should of mentioned. I run windowed at the resolution of my primary monitor so I never minimize it, but have windows on top of it at times as well as doing things in the other monitor. I haven't run fullscreen mode since before DA came out so I'm not sure what issues that would have.

I've been running it for several days now in Full Screen on 7 64 bit.

Sometimes it ccrashes on startup but it eventually starts and then runs liek a champ.

I alt-tab in and out a lot.

Have you tried installing the latest Vista graphics drivers? I had a lot of crashes with Win7 32bit with default drivers(from WU), but after installing the latest drivers from nVidia it now works fine :)
