Black screen with gui programs

Hi, I have read that thing about the cracked versions not working and so you know I do not have a cracked version. My problem is I program in c++ alot and my programs won't work. I am using the allegro library which has some directx components in it. But, with any of example code for it I find online it just displays a black screen then freezes. I hope there is a fix to this otherwise I have to uninstall windowsblinds altogether and I really think it is a great product.

My system info:

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.3 (build 69 x86)

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

(Plug and Play Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on the Settings tab. Select "Change the look of an app" tab and then "Add per application setting". Locate the exe for the program you wish to exclude and select it. In the screen that appears put a check mark in "Ignore this application and do not skin it".

I can't do that because I create new .exe's when programing. Otherwise everytime I test I would have to do that and that is to much of a hassle. I believe the only choice I have is to uninstall windowsblinds.

Hold down the control key when starting your apps.  Skinning will be disabled.

have you tried

WB >> settings >> Override default settings >> controls in applications which are not theme aware should not be skinned --- checked

this would be a WB wide setting vs a per app.

alternatively sounds to me like if that does not work your only other option is to code your apps theme aware. but probably too much hassle.
