Why does Wb6 make my search boxes and buttons in internet explorer very small

from Stardock Forums

When I load wb it makes my search boxes and buttons in internet explorer very very small I have tried several skins with the same results.

Any Ideas

possibly because you are using a beta version of Internet Explorer.........

I am not using a beta of IE i have the newest IE 8 installed its been fine until WB update then all my search boxes on any webpage and the buttons by them are very small cant even read them

It is a problem with the IE8 RC1 release.  Stardock knows about and is working on it.  You can do one of two things, roll back to IE7 (which I did) or don't let WB skin IE.

Or, you can open ie. goto tools\internet options\advanced and unclick the option for enable visual styles on buttons and controls in webpages.

and yes it is only in ie8rc1 but can be fixed.

That still is a Beta. 'RC1' just means it's 'almostoutofbeta'....

....but if we see a RC100  then RC1 may not be quite as 'out' as some assume.

When it is [the equivalent of] RTM then we can worry....;)
