[Fixed]Sins is quite the memory hog, whoa.

Game just crashed after 3-4 hour game between Vasari (me) and Advent computer player (hard). Everything was going great, no problems loading or saving over the course of the game. It was a small map, I think 18 planets. I didn't spam mines, I didn't use any at all actually. Game randomly crashed with a runtime error or something like that. I ctr alt deleted to see how much memory the game was using and it was over 2 gbs (my system is a q6600 2.7, gtx 260 black edition, with 2 gbs of ram). I assume it was because I ran out of memory? is this normal, or is there a memory leak or something going on?

IC has stated that they haven't finished optimizing Entrenchment for memory usage, so this kind of thing happens for now.

Oh okay, I figured that's all it was, I'm not worried about it. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my system and if it was just because of the beta. Either way I need more ram, heh.

For now you can try turning down your texture detail settings, that usually lets it go on longer :P

I put all detail settings to Medium and was able to play vs 4 insane AIs on a huge multi-star map for 5+ hours.  Any more than 4 AIs and my laptop curses me.  Laptop's specs - Intel Core Duo t2350 @1.86GHz, 2GB ram and an Intel GMA 950(!) The scalability of this game is most impressive.  I have full confidence that Entrenchment will be nicely optimized upon official release.
