MCC - any chance of a patch?

Is there any chance that the MCC problem could be patched in DA?

If not, is there a way to fix it in the files on one's computer?

As it is, it's a maddening dilemma.  Do I take the 100% economic bonus at the cost of probably not flipping any more planets?

I've tried depopulating its planet and then giving it to a weak (but not about to surrender) AI.  That lets the flipping resume, and I have to hope the planet flips back soon.  Then, after my reasury re-fattens, I can gift it again.  But it's a maddening work around!

Slim to none; DA is (as far as I know) considered dead at this point.

Unfortunately, no.  It is (was?) a hard code problem.

Thanx.

<sigh>

It is realllly annoying.

I gather from other forum posts that it was fixed in TA, but the changes to TA seem to make it a different game and I'm still enjoying DA in the "sandbox" mode.

Is there any work-around other than the one I'm doing?

Short of getting the 100% economic bonus elsewhere, or invading planets rather than flipping them?

No.

For what it's worth, it applies as a racial bonus-it's not a multiplier against everything.  So say if I had 4 economic resources (and assume they're maxed at 39%), +15% from techs, and then +30% from governments, I'd be at +201% already-having 3.01x the income.  The MCC would then raise me to 4.01x income, or a 33.22% improvement over where I was at.

In gigantic games with 6 or even 7 economic resources, plus the bonuses from anomalies, even a +400% bonus is not entirely out of the question (318 before anomalies), under which circumstances the MCC provides a mere 20% boost overall.

But the point that the MCC is obtainable well before any other 100% in bonuses is very valid.
