Are you using the free version?  THere is a bug with that one and the weather.  It will get fixed when the plus version goes to version 2.  Or you could upgrade to Plus now and get weather and tabbed docks

no i am using the version from impulse, object desktop.

Both versions are availalbe through Impulse and neither is a part of ObjectDesktop.

Did you buy it or was it free?  Is it called ObjectDock or ObjectDock Plus?

no it is object dock plus, latest version from object desktop

That's the issue.  You can wait, upgrade, do without, or try to find an alternative docklet.

He said it was plus! So....are you saying there IS a bug in Plus....or the free version?

No, no bug in plus.  I misread.

What exactly are you typing in the search field.

Yeah, I thought having plus was a good thing, that the docklet would work then.

As a point of reference, I'm in the US, run ObjectDock Plus on an XP Home 32 bit system.  I typed in Stockholm, Sweden.  It came back 'Feed not available, try again later"

It works for me.

Try this:

Type in 'stockholm' and click Update.

You should get a list of options.  Select 'Stockholm, Sweden (Stockholm)'

See if that works.

Tried it and didn't get a list of options. :S

I just relized I misspelled stockholm in my previous post.  (Corrected)

You are not using quotes, are you Philly?

Tried it with (') and (") didn't work.  It works for my location Rio Rancho, NM with out them.  I'm using ObjectDock Plus, latest verison through Impulse, Zoomer Dock and the default Weather docklet.

When I use quotes it comes back and says:  Please use a valid location

Zubaz, could you be using a'test version' that hasn't been released to the public yet?

There's an updated weather docklet linked somewhere in the forum... I can't find it now though. It doesn't work properly for stockholm either though, gives incorrect data.

And just to set things straight, Objectdock is NOT a part of Object Desktop. It's separate software. :D

Try going directly to the AccuWeather site and see if they have a a listing for Stockholm Sweden.

Update: Ok...Stockholm, Sweden is listed there...so I tried it on mine and typed it in as Stockholm, Sweden and then a list came up with a few choices and it worked.

I tried with stockholm, sweden, stockholm, vasteras, sweden, orebro, sweden,

nothing works for me, it just says: "'Feed not available, try again later"

Make sure you type it with caps and the comma.....Stockholm, Sweden

Just out of curosity try another location, say mine, Rio Rancho, NM and see if it gets it.  The docklet does work for me, just not for your locations.

Yes, that works for me.

Just tried Stockholm, Sweden and it seems to work here (Canada). Perhaps it has something to do with your ISP.

Well, if we are all using the same default weather docklet, then it has to be something in our individual setp ups.  Like Hankers said possibly an ISP issue.  Not really sure what else could be causing the problem.

Maybe Sweden is on vacation! :O :-" :sun:
