To Update from 1.40x.053 to 1.53.136

Hello!

I think this might be my first post ever on this site, so forgive me I do something wrong.

I cannot find any information on any updates to the original Gal Civ II past the 1.40X that I now have. Is it worth spending multiple hours updating 1.4 GB to get version 1.53.136 on Impulse? I am using Windows XP, so if it is just an update to get the game to work on Vista I certainly will not be getting the update!

1.53 is the Vista update-1.51ish was a "normal" update. Not sure what specifically has changed from 1.4x. 1.5whatever is also up on SDC, and it will properly show in SDC as somewhat less than 1.4GB. In Impulse, it doesn't always properly show how large the update is until you start the update.

My guess would be ~200MB, but it may even be less than that.
