when i do a save the game crashs

Do you crash if you start a new game, and save it?

GalCiv2 ForumsI too was getting regular crashing on the game save. I have Vista operating system and acting on advice i saw in the stickies, i updated my vidio card drivers and the problem vanished.
Also you may want to see that your paging file is sufficient.
That dousn't mean my game has remained entirely crash proof, (because it hasn't) but the autosave has never crashed again, so far so good.
You can also try going to Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor and open the Prefs.ini file in Notepad.
Change DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight to whatever your screen resolution is set for, save the file, and then try again.
If that doesn't work, set Fullscreen=0
