Team mates on seperate stars

First post, sorry if its already been addressed, couldn't find it.  When I start a team match (multiplayer or single) and I have multiple stars, the team ALWAYS start on different stars, this never happened before downloading Entrenchment, and I have yet to find an option for placement of any kind.  My created maps always say that they are best for FFA no matter how I make them, is that the problem.  This is kind of a game breaker for me because I play with a friend and rarely on my own.  PLEASE HELP/FIX/INFORM ME OF MY SIMPLE MISTAKE
