ICO is not responsive

Hi all,

 

I'm having trouble with the ICO service.  The UI just isn't responsive.  I can navigate through the different menus, but if, for example, I try and join a game, I'll either get no response from the game, or a dialogue box asking me for a password, after which the game will just hang and not do anything.  I get the same result if I try and refresh the list of servers or host a game.  I just can't seem to get ICO to do anything at all.  Meanwhile friend of mine who's online at the same time is telling me that he has no problems.  o_O  Has anyone else experienced this?  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

What version are you running?

Have you been onto ICO yet at all?

If you are 1.12 and have not, then the issue is probably a networking one on your end - check your firewall isn't blocking the Sins required ports

I am running 1.12, and no I haven't been onto ICO yet.  I haven't fowarded any ports specifically, but I did add an exception for the game in my firewall settings.  Other than that, I can't really do much as I'm connected to a college network, so I don't have access to any of the the networking hardware.

 

I did manage to get into one game yesterday, at which point I discovered that my ping was ridiculuously high.  Ie. high as in 29000+.  o_O
