Zoom not working correctly

Hey,

   I have a HP HDX 16 notebook with:

        Windows Vista Home Premium SP1

        Intel Duo T9600 at 2.80 GHZ a piece

        3.00 GB Ram

        NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Graphics card with 512MB

        And I'm using a wireless HP bluetooth mouse with a scroll wheel for the zooming.

 

What I'm running into is this:  When I zoom in or out I can zoom so far and it stops moving.  Then if I click once the other way and continue zooming it keeps going for the same distance and stops again.  For example: If I'm zooming in I scroll in so far and it stops zooming in.  Then if I rock the scroll wheel back a click it zooms back and then I can continue zooming in again for the same amount of distance.  Then I have to rock the wheel back before I can zoom in more.  I'm completely baffled at this point.  Never seen this before and the game worked fine on my xp desktop.

 

Any ideas?

Well just answered my own question.  I tried the V and B keys for zooming and it works perfectly.  So that means it's the mouse.  Could be the bluetooth setup only takes so many of the same command at a time or something like that.  If anybody out there has a bluetooth/wireless mouse and has had this problem and found a solution let me know.  As for me I'll just use the keys.  Still focuses in on the mouse cursor so no worries.  Just a nuisance to get used to the keys though.
