ways to reconnect in lan

Me and my roommate like to play sins but through a lan instead of online!

Every so often one of us will drop out of the game after playing for a few hours, and we are always on a team and we enjoy playing with one another. so we never finish the game but we always replay a new game.

We were wondering if it is possible for the kid who got disconnected to come back into the game with the other kid who stayed in after it said he has been disconnected?????

You cannot rejoin during the same in-progress match, however you can restart the match from the last autosave in which everyone was present.
