Advent get more experience points?

OK, I'll be the first to admit that I sometimes don't pay close attention to something if something shiney distracts me.  

But, do the advent get more experience points for a given ship/structure?  Forex, I will build 5 caps, plus supporting ships to take out a pirate base.  The pirates always have a consistant number of guass cannon and ships in-system (not including the roving pirates that only show up if the bounty attack comes from that base).  For a level 4 cap (I always try to buy/train max levels) vasari or tec, they end up with about 1470 points after taking out a pirate base completely, just shy of being able to level up.  For 5 advent caps, they end up with over 1500 points, enough to level up one more level.  All enter the grav well at the same time, etc.

I don't remember the name but I do remember that the advent can research something called mass transcendence which gives a bonus experience...that might be it.

One of the final(teir 7) abilities in the advent hostility tree is called Mass Transendence as jdoe said, it has 2 levels, besides auto leveling your caps up to level 4 it will boost their experence gained from combat by 25 and 50%(levels 1 and 2 respectively).

However, by the sound of things, you are only noticing a small experence difference between the races, which seems to indicate that you didn't reasearch it in the game you are refering to.  Otherwise your advent fleet would have roughly 2250 experience where the other races have 1500.

I'll be damned, been playing this since the alpha and I just noticed this (or, just noticed the extra points, anyway).  25% experience bonus for mass trancendence.  I do research that before any extra caps so I can upgrade the first 4 levels for free, one of the benies of the advent.
