Dissapearing docks

Hello,

 

I've recently had 3 of my docks that simply dissapeared. After a random reboot (meaning, not after a system crash or an ObjectDock crash), 3 out of 4 docks vanished. They don't even show up in "My Docks" anymore. The only one that didn't dissapear is the bottom dock. I'd like to know what happened. Is there a way to get them back or do I really have to create them all over again? (uhg, that would be a real pain)

 

There must be a place where ObjectDock stores dock information, like an .ini file or something, where I could probably get my old dock info.

Uhm... so no one will even answer me? I did some digging and found some INI files that seem to contain dock information but I haven't been able to successfuly edit them yet.

 

I cannot believe I'm the only who this has happened to. Please help me out!

I don't know much about this particular problem buddy, but usually IF a dock vanishes, and it's set to load at startup, it 'should' reappear.. I guess it hasn't?:'(

I'd get them the way you want them, and make sure they are set to load at startup, then do a test reboot to see if it takes? beyond that, I can't help you, hopefully someone who has had more to do with this problem than I have, can help you further, and good luck :)

Yeah, my docks were always set to load at startup. Like I said, I had 4 docks and they all worked fine until last week when, after booting up my pc, 3 docks had dissapeared. The only one still showing up is the bottom dock and the others don't even show up in "my docks" anymore... it's as if they never existed.

Save your settings in Themes

Found on Dock settings top left below General Tab

THen next time it happens easy to get back to what you had.
