i have recently downloaded beta and i have played a few skrimishes but i dont know how to update beta 2b i go to impulse and down it only says run and more info cant see any update is there any other way to update?manually? is at beta2b the torch bearer and a new map? because i only see six emigods at beta 1 and 1 map
How recently did you download? It always updates to the newest version, you don't need any of the patches in between.
If you want to make sure, start Impulse. When it has logged in and retrieved information, check your demigod icon. If it says "Update available!" directly underneath the demigod title at the icon to the left, there is one available. If it doesn't (it says Installed instead), you have the latest version already.
Beta 2 had 2 maps, where as Beta 2b has only 1 map. That map is cataract. Also Beta 2b has 6 demigods including rook, unclean beast, regulus, oak, sedna, and queen of thorns. This sounds like the version you have. If this is what you have then you are good.
it doesnt say update anywhere and it says last update 16/1 i downloaded 18/1 but i only see one map and i thought beta2b has torch bearer or i am wrong
No beta 2b does NOT have torchbearer. He has been in ALL previous betas, but was removed from the most recent one. You are up-to-date!!!
ah i see why is it going like this they release beta and then remove instead of add things with each beta patch?
They have been adding some things and removing others. They probably plan to update the Torchbearer a lot and do not need him in this version, or have decided that he is good the way he is.
