Problems in firefox while using windowblinds

If I put a blind on every menu becomes a big gray box that goes from one side of the screen to the other.

So I am asking you guys is there a way to fix this?

Thank you in advance

Dave

Undoubtedly it is an issue with your system. some sort of conflict going on. The way you worded it sounds like it is happening with all blinds? or is it just one or two?

Firefox is the only browser I use and have had no problems.

Try support if you haven't fixed the problem. Beyond that I would suggest playing with Firefox settings or uninstalling software to see if you can find what is conflicting.

Something that a lot of people don't know, don't realize, or forget about because it is so easy to overlook is that files and apps can become corrupt creating conflict.

Possibly try uninstalling and reinstalling WB and or Firefox, run a registry cleaner, and then manually clean out the registry of ALL stardock/firefox entries in case any were missed.

1. save all blinds and WB install.exe to a storage folder on desktop (include any other stardock software you may be using)

2. uninstall WB and any other Stardock software then reboot

3. delete any left over stardock folders/files from the program files directory.

4. create a restore point

5. use a registry cleaner to back up the registry and then run the reg cleaner

6. manually delete registry entries left over .... run > regedit > find next... search stardock and delete any entries that come up until you get the 'finish searching registry' notice. run through a second time to be sure as you can miss entries if there are 2 or more next to each other. when you delete one if the next entry is stardock it will be skipped on the find next command as the entry selected is not included in the search. Or just keep an eye out for this when deleting entries. still a good idea to run through again.

7. reboot and re-install WB

Do the same for Firefox if you choose to uninstall firefox. the registry search for firefox is probably mozilla
