creating online account

hello,

well I did buy the game to play online, and not to play chess with the online prompt where you enter the cd key etc haha. Man its a hassle. well, i start up the game, and then click on ironclad online. The instruction booklet says click on manage accounts. unfortunately there is not such button seen at this interface. do i have to create the account on a website first?  I did create an online account a really long time ago, but forgot it, and am redoing it, and i can't figure out how i did it successfully, especially without the manage accounts button. thx

You need to add a player once you get into the ironclad online menu - once that is done you can select the player and use it to get into the lobby

Ok. But after I enter the ironclad online menu,,,there are only two buttons...log in, and create account button. I have thoroughly  checked all corners of the screen for any buttons I may have overlooked and I do not see a add player button.  So i'm not sure what  to do.

You'd need to log in first :P If you did it a while ago and don't remember it won't let you make a new one since the cd key would be used already. They're working on putting in an automatic retrieval, AFAIK, but for now you might need to email [email protected] to get your old account details back.
