Super Warrior ability
What is the exact effect of this ability and what does it mean in terms of game mechanics?
Thanks in advance.

Like the description says - your ships get the first attack in battle.
What this means is that when you go into battle, every single one of your ships gets to fire their weapons at the enemy first - and if there are any enemy ships left after your barrage, then they will fire, as opposed to both your fleet and your opponent's fleet either firing at the same time, or you getting fired on first.
There may be more to the actual effects - I'll let someone else provide any details that I may have missed. Best Regards.

In most combat, every ship in the attacking fleet fires, followed by every ship in the defending fleet - even those that were destroyed by the attacker. If there are survivors on both sides, round 2 is the same as round 1.
With SW, every ship in the attacking fleet fires, but the defending ships destroyed do NOT get to fire back. Note this is for the first round only, and only when the attacker is the civ with SW. If the defender has SW, it's the same as normal combat. If there are survivors of the first round of combat, all following rounds are like normal combat.
In short, if you are going to use the Super Warrior ability, build ships with LOTS of powerful weapons, minimal defenses and ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. Be very offensive. Stick with Medium Hull ships- why? Cuz you can have more in a fleet, meaning more weapons, meaning better kills, and IF you happent to lose one, its not as a big of a loss. Being the fastest around helps too, almost think of your ships as Raiders, and go about destroying all that is in your path.
