Flashing Screen Please help

I am having an annoying problem, after playing the game for about 30 minuets, the screen begins to flash when I move the mouse. Any ideas? please help I really enjoy this game and I'd like to be able to finish at least one game. Thanks.

PC specs? By flash you mean you can visibly see it re-drawing the screen?
