I have loads of .DMP files

from Sins Forums

I am now unable to play games after saving them. I get there has been an errror with the game and then a .DMP file is saved, which is nice.

The game either crashes just after saving, or just as the loading screen starts.

I have managed to play a couple of games on small maps and save them, TEC and vasari, so I assume the problem is advent or mine related as they didn't feature very heavily.

 

So does anyone at stardock want all my .dmp files to try and figure it out, I have done a complete redownload and reinstall but I can't play for over 6 hours in one sitting so I can't play through to a conclusion. which is not really worth the value of the game, if I only get the start.

It's a fairly common problem. IC has said that the current Entrenchment build that we've got isn't very optimized, and a lot of people are reporting minidumps in larger games, most of them due to memory issues.

I would wait until we get the next build which will hopefully be more optimized, and see if you still get them.

That's what I'm doing :) My long games also tend to minidump every time I try to save or quit :P
