Creating a backup...?

Right, so for the second time this month all of my settings and objects have been erased. What happened is I turn off the PC (with OD still being perfectly normal) and when I turn it on again instead of my 4 docks full of icons, I have one empty one on the bottom of my screen, it's like running OD for the first time. It's highly annoying and timewasting, because every time I have to readd all the icons, rename them and relink the icon pictures. Doesn't happen every time I turn the PC on and off but rendomly about every two weeks.

So my question is, can I somehow backup all of my settings so that when this happens I can just restore my OD to the previous state? Or alternatively explain how to fix whatever thing is causing it...

Thank you :)

Well Im not sure the problem with why its doing that.. Hopefully a Dev will Spot this and pop in..

but to save a dock and its contents..open OD settings. Select "themes" in the menu on the right. at the bottom right will appear "save current Dock" name the dock to what ever you wish then save.. next time OD reverts to the defaults open the same section "Themes" and select "load previous dock" and choose the one you had saved. this should load your doc and all its icons shortcuts etc..

Any time. Check back to see if anyone else can offer a solution to the issue. You might want to post all pertinent Info, such as OD version and OS XP/Vista/ builds Service packs etc..

as this will help the devs better find the issue.
