update help

It worked ,I updated now it doesn't

I just bought it installed it and did the tutorials and played once. Then I checked updates.I installed the first one off of SINS site. start it up and all it does is a grey screen (locked up). I go to Impulse site and install the latest update. Same thing locked up. I check my drivers and update (10/08). still locks up. Any suggestions?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling,nothing.
