[Feature] Make the desync notification go away forever

It seems that this message does not actually affect the running game other than annoy the hell out of the players. Is it possible to make it so that a player can tick a checkbox on the notification saying "do not show this message again" or something? That would take care at least of this annoying bug.

So the desync is actually telling you that your version of the game you are playing has diverged from your opponent's.  The game may appear to be continuing normally, but it's not, and it won't reconverge.

A solution may be to have the game say "Desync detected" and then give you options for ending the game and restarting or just exiting to desktop immediately.

How about the initial popup screen with the options Ke5strel suggests, but if you click "OK" to continue, it just has a red "The game has become desynced" message at the top, rather than a dialog box you have to continuously click away.

So what happens on a desnc on my opponents game? Is my character being played by a bot?

No, you games just have different values for something.  For example if your computer is playing as if your character has 1100/1200 HP, but their is playing as if you have 1110/1200hp that is a desync.  Currently, the game just keeps going, but obviously some funky stuff can happen.  Most games just kick the player who desynced (it determines this by majority vote, if 3 players are the same and 1 is different that one that is different is considered desynced and dropped.)

Interesting note, in Warcraft 3 the "drop hack" was actually using a hack to give one player more gold, forcing a desync, and in 1v1 WAR3 couldn't figure out who desynced so it dropped both players and declared a tie.

Well, as long as something happens about after thursday I'd be happy. Either a forced kick or at least allowing us to continue playing and live with the funkiness

since i haven't yet experienced a desync in DG yet, can someone tell me; are you informed of who desynced?

if you are; kick them and continue the game, albeit with odd teams.

You are informed of who is desynced.  Of course, in a 3 player environment, if Perason A says Person B is desynced, Person B will show the same thing for A.  You have to use Person C to, ah, triangulate where the desync actually is.

I know the desyncs are (or at least can be) bigger than just a different stat value for stuff.  I had a desync with a friend occur towards the end game, and the games ended very, very differently.  As a matter of fact, one person won their game, the other was mercilessly crushed xD.
