Starbase wreckage (not balance or bug related related)

Just a random thought that occured to me to make starbases seem more epic.  When destroyed, rather than just dissappearing a starbase should leave behind some uniques wreckage that looks, well, like a destroyed starbase. Have massive chunks floating in space when an argonev gets destroyed, or remnants of the ring of a transcencia.  Maybe it could even be named "Remains of <starbase>" just to add to the sense of how immense the structures are.  Obviously to prevent a bunch of wreckage building up in large games, you could make the wreckage dissappear if a new starbase is constructed in the grav well, or whatever other arbitrary rule is deemed appropriate.

I like this idea and I'll add that I'd like to see more debris from cap ships exploding as well.  With, of course, the appropriate graphical toggles to turn the additional debris on and off.  More eye candy(that can be turned off as needed) is never bad.

Something I'd love to playtest: debris the starbase has a limited gameplay affect.  Something similar to the asteroid belt passive effect of -25% chance to hit or whatever it is, but with a time limit, say, 2 minutes?  Reduced time limit if the Vasari researched that auto-salvage tech.

I like this idea. Every other object (except strikecraft) leave wreckage behind so why not Starbases?
