Using Entrenchment beta and SoaSE 1.12 separately

Hello!

I want to try playing both versions of the game. So far I just duplicated the SoaSE+Entrenchment folder. With Impluse I deinstalled Entrenchment from the original folder [A]. Now Impulse shows both versions as available. But when I now chose install SoaSE 1.12 and select the [A] folder Impulse redownloads the entire 700 something MB install package.

Any ideas why that is or if my idea works at all? Since both "installations" of the game would use the same AppData/LocalSettings/... folder.

You'll need to install Sins 1.12, make a copy of that folder, and then update to Entrenchment. You'll be able to run 1.12 from the copied folder and Entrenchment from the original installation.

Thanks, that's what I feared!

I can also confirm that the exact opposite way does not work.
