Questions on Product Updates

Hi, I was wondering how exactly the product updates are handled between Window Blinds and Object Desktop.

Object Desktop says you get updates for free for 12 months. What about Window Blinds? What about the different Object Desktop versions? (2008, 2009, etc.) Can I update into those if they are released in my 12 months? And finally, after a long while, what if I chose to not renew my Object Desktop subscription, formatted my PC, and install Object Desktop again. Would I end up with:

1. Object Desktop not being patched at all due to my inability to update, therefore end up with "vanilla" version

2. Objest Desktop updated with a patch within my update period, but not the newest one

Thank you for your help! Oh, and your products are awesome! |-)

For standalone apps like WindowBlinds (vs buying it via Object Desktop), if you purchased WB 6.0 then you would get access to all the released versions of WB 6.x.

So 6.01, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 etc.

When a new major version is released (say 7.0) then there would usually be an upgrade fee.  In the past this has been between $10 and $15.  Typically if you purchased WB within say 3 months of the major update being released then the upgrade is free.

If you buy Object Desktop instead then if there was a major update of WB within your subscription period then you would get it for free.
