Running on my PC

So I have a laptop which meets the requirements for Sins of a solar empire and plays it very smoothly, and I have played the demo on my PC which is not as good as my laptops specs. When I played the demo on my PC it would freeze up for a few seconds then start up again, but the freeze would only last for about 1-5 seconds. Now I have the full game I was just wondering if I could play the game on my PC or if that would be a bad idea, here are the specs for my PC:

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+,  MMX,  3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 958MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
Display Memory: 256.0 MB

I know the Graphics card probably won't handle it that well but do you think the full version of the game will be playable since the demo was kinda playable?

The demo is actually from a much earlier build, and there were quite a few optimizations for lower-end hardware done since it was released (especially in the latest 1.1 patch). So I would say if you were content with how the demo ran, the chances are quite good that the full game will run pretty well. The main issue I forsee is your system memory - the demo only had textures and assets for one race, but the full has 3, so you may not be able to play the largest maps very well.

But if you already have the full, there's nothing stopping you from trying :P

I ran Sins fairly well on a laptop with this config:

Celeron-m 1.46Ghz
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M (X300 w/out dedicated memory)
1GB total ram (128 given to video card)
XP SP2

So long as I kept textures on medium and detail/bump low, it all ran fine. Oh and planet elevators off, that kills the fps on it for some reason.

Took a long time to load maps into memory, but could otherwise play small/medium Sins maps no problem; haven't played many large maps.
