Hi guys,
This is my last resort, I have searched forum for days.
Was not able to find any mods that replaces the current "tank in space" model.
Can someone please suggest if there any mod that replaces the Kodiak model ?

I am not aware of any mods that replace JUST the kodiak. There are total conversion mods that replace most or all of the models. Such mods include (but are not limited to) the Star Wars TC, Star Trek TC, and FreeSpace 1 TC.
While I too think the kodiak is probably the worse looking ship in sins, I don't think that anyone has taken the time to make a mod exclusively for getting rid of it. Of course, it wouldn't be to hard just to download a mod with a model you like, copy the model and texture files into a new mod, then change the kodiak entity file to reference those files instead of the tank in space model. Of course firing points and shield overlays could be a problem...
Its probably easier just to deal with it or just start playing a TC mod.

i reckon someone should do a mod that replaces the kodiak as it looks bloody awful! id do it myself but i dont know how and dont have the time to learn how
