Impulse won't install

First off, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here I go anyway.

During the installation of impulse there is some kind of error that interupts it. At the end I am presented with a message that says:

The Setup Wizard for Impulse has failed: "The system cannot find the file specified". Please check your settings and try again.

I have tried running the setup as an administrator, in XP SP2 compatibility mode and safe mode. Neither of them worked. I also disabled my virus scanner (Avast Home) but that didn't work also. I am running Vista Business 64 bit.

Any ideas as to what can be causing problems?
