[Gameplay] Demigod Death Effects?

Seems like some demis are doing damage when they die (Unclean Beast's pool of acid) and some aren't at all (Regulus, Erebus, Oak).  Will this be implemented later or is it being phased out?

Also, really nice Rook death animation, guys :D

I think there's a point in that

Why put it in when they're just going to take it out. Plus as you can tell its demigod specific. The point is unclean beast is liable to leave something behind. Rook is liable to crush something. What is regulus going to do. Mushroom cloud? Its totally subjective to character.

I don't quite understand, Xaviorsfist.

In a previous build all the DGs did something when they died that damaged or debuffed any enemies within range.  I'm wondering if that is being phased out, since it looks like some of them still do it and others don't.  Or maybe it's just a bug.

I don't think its a bug what i mean is its to demigods it makes since. Unclean beast is liable to shoot goo all over. Whats regalus going to do to damage people. Blow up. Hes just going to die with a regular animation. It has to do with the demigod at hand. Besides if your really good it wouldn't matter what your death was. You wouldn't die.

I think they could all get something.  They don't at the moment, but I think they all should.

TB:  Fire could just be a damage explosion, ice could be an area slow.

Rook:  He falls on you and crushes you.  Smaller area than TB's fire death, but does more damage.

UB:  Giant acidic explosion.  Perhaps give a plauge-like effect instead of doing direct damage?

Regulus:  Give a slowly explanding LoS as he rises above the battlefield.  Would be useful to allies in the area.

Erebus:  Leave a slow, lingering area damage.  Similar in function to TB's Ring of Fire.

Oak:  Gives nearby allies a slight stat boost.

Don't know enough about Sedna or QoT yet, but I think they could all add a neat effect on death.  Any other thoughts along these lines?

Actually, Erebus already has his potion thing. The idea could do with some refining from it's current form, but it's very characterful and cool in concept.
