Torpedo Frigate Bug/ Capturable Extractor Bug[Bug]

Targets capturable extractors

I don't think anyone has posted this bug before, but I apologize if it has.

Anyway, the TEC's Orgrev Torpedo Frigate will target capturable extractors if they are owned by an enemy. I had a couple extractors in an asteroid field, and eventually a TEC fleet came and just sat at the asteroid field. Every now and then, I would look at it, just to see what the fleet was doing. I went over once, and I noticed that all of their torpedo frigates were firing at my extractors. Of course, they can't actually do any damage, but they just kept firing on it. I don't know if the Advent ship (Adjunticator?) does the same thing. I have a screen shot, but for some reason I can't seem to get any of my screen shots to show up. I just get a litle white box with a red "X" inside.

I haven't encountered this before-- but I do have an additional torpedo frigate bug to add:

Torpedoes do their damage before they hit their target.  This is mostly cosmetic, but I've noticed everytime a torpedo is launched the target takes the damage from the torpedo when it's only maybe half way to it.  The battle loses some of its appeal when this isn't timed right.  The explosion then is an after thought.  Oh and not consistently, but I've also noticed the torpedoes dont appear all that accurate either.  They always damage their intended target, but often they explode off to the side of the target.

I think that most (if not all) weapons/abilities do damage before they hit, but its less noticable with others because they don't move nearlly as slow as the torpedos. Like the Marza'a radiation bomb, for instance. If you watch closely, the target starts taking damage as soon as the bomb leaves the Marza, and a litle while later the bomb actually hits the target.

I found another, related bug. The Ceilo Command Cruiser will use the "Designate Target" ability on capturable extractors.
