I just want to pass along my two cents worth about this election. I am a registered Republican but there is no way I can vote for George Bush. He was supposed to bring humility back to the White House and has failed miserably. For his staff to think they have the right to openly attack a country because they believe the world is a better place without that ruler is a disgrace. It may be true that Iraq is better off without Saddam, that remains to be seen. But, the point is irrelevant. It isn't our right to decide.

For an administration to make so many errors in judgment and not take responsibility is not 'leadership' or steadfastness. It is belligerent and irresponsible.

The Republican party is supposed to be about fiscal responsibility but they blew a budget surplus.

I received 6 taped phone calls today from Republican sources. None providing useful information. The party stance seems to be to prey upon people who can't think for themselves and try to scare people into voting for Bush. It is because of Bush our problems are so bad. I can go on and on but then there is no way anyone would bother reading this. Kerry may not be my first choice for President, but Bush wouldn't crack the top 100.

It is highly likely than I will not be a member of the Republican party in the near future if their direction continues to proceed the way it has over the last four years.

Badnarik take the strentghs of both major partys, and is actually fiscally resposible. Domestic policys of Republicans, Social policys of Democrats, the exact opposite of the Communists.
Dems have been way more fiscally responsible in history, so I don't have the faintest idea why Republicans claim they are.

It's too bad this isn't a three party system, as Libertarians would be the most legitimate 3rd party...

The only people to blame for it not being a third-party system are the people who want to vote third-party but too melodramatic to vote for one. "Oh no! My vote will be wasted and Bush is going to DESTROY THE PLANET if I don't vote for Kerry!"


If you want to vote Libertarian but don't, then you don't deserve a better system. You deserve the crap you so bend over for. And if it happens that most of the people who would vote Libertarian are voting Libertarian, then maybe Libertarians aren't the answer.

Do they know Abraham Lincoln was a third party candidate the two major parties at the time were the Democrats and Whigs, it is the reason why Lincoln ran with a Dem VP?

Boy I haven't even considered a 3rd party vote before. I'm sure I don't keep on top of all the choices as much as many people posting here. Perhaps I'll need to expand my options in future elections. I don't think I feel comfortable enough switching my vote at this point. I did hear a part of a debate with people not from the 2 major parties. I believe it was for Senate seats. I don't remember the candidates names or what parties they were from, but they didn't really impress me. It is a tough choice between being practical and idealogical. I want Bush to lose badly enough that practicality will win this time and my vote has to go to the only person who has a shot at beating him
