Some thoughts about the Beta

I've only played as yet with the Vasari but here are some of the things I've noticed.

-Upgrading the weapon systems on the Vasari Starbase seems useless right now as I never see them firing long range missles

-The think there needs to be a automate button on the mine layers that will allow them to seed a starsystem until you turn it off.

-Mines need to be toned down in damage if your allowed to deploy as many as you want in a star system.  Put a limit on how many mines, and then the damage can stay the same.

-Weapon Ranges need to be increased on starbases to cover a wider area.

-Abilities for upgrading starbases appear available before you research them.

-How about adding extra weapon upggrades such as pulse lasers and long range missles to the turrets to make them more effective.

I also haven't seen a TEC SB use it's beam weapons :-(

Definitely! I think they should cover at least some 30% of a gravwell! Or keep the current range and allow multiple starbases per well :grin:
