Regulus' mines are grenades

Regulus' mines are now awesome to play with, full stop (before lack of scaling kills off the use of any ability). However, this only comes into practice when the opponent is bunched up and/or standing still. Because of the way running creeps spread out, they're actually not very effective as mines, since it's rare for the enemy to set all off in a short time (Demigods) or set it off so that many creeps die (Creeps) although early on, you can fire Mines into the enemy lines for some nasty, nasty damage. I suggest that they are reworked so that they detonate instantly (right now there is a lag time) but the triggering radius is essentially smaller (or detonation radius increased). Most of the things I could come up with to make them worth it against running creeps made them horrifically OP against Demigods, so you may need to rethink them.

I've found they work quite well against minions - you just need to mine an area in advance, and put even spacing between those mines. And if you really want to play minelayer, you need to get the right items for it: Helmets that cut the cooldown, cut the cost and generally up your mana regen.

I like how they work now. They shouldn't be too effective as mines, just as the Rook can't build 6 permanent towers. A little extra defense quickly becomes way too much defense. The use of the ability is twofold right now, you can both use them as grenades, and as "stop the enemy in the future". I like skills that have a hybrid function. Gives more range (in the philosophical sense) to the character.

I think it's a good aoe skill, and every assassin willl need it against generals.

I don't like that you throw 1-2-3 at a time, and that 2-3 explode instantly however. Sometimes I get the feeling that they go off on the same mob. It feels like a waste. Either give the extras timers, or spread them out just a bit more to prevent the rather large overlap.

Poor scaling affects all AOE skills except swipe attacks. I don't like that either, but I guess I see the point (general's minions would die like flies otherwise, their health is static I think).

Hint: make that mob the enemy Demigod.
