THE CREATIVITY OF GALCIVERS

Have you guys and shielas checked out the creativity shown by Galcivers?
I would nominate my current top 10 favourite names of Empires as (in no particular order):
Shoot Club
G.R.O.S.S.
The Great Washu
The United Benzoians
Fnord
Happy Fun Ball
Arachonopets
The Zwan
Order of the Wyvern
Dorsai Confederation
The names make me curious as to how they were conceived. (Although Dorsai = Gordon R Dickson, and we all know what G.R.O.S.S. stands for). I reckon most are provocative and Out There. Can their creators shed some light?
My current favourite Empire logos are (in no particular order):
Mid Western Confederation (Rising Half-Sun)*
The Great Washu (Manga influence?)
Galactic Fist (Well, a fist)
Happy Fun Ball (Round simplicity and good choice of colours)
Canadian Star federation (who could not like that old Maple Leaf)
The (That 'pirate')**
Stone Burners (a mushroom Cloud warms me every time)
Shoot Club (The Eye- chillingly suggestive)
Gamma Squad (Relaxing aquatic theme)
Imperium Terranum (A flying creature)
The Norn (But whose eye?)
House of Orange (A REALLY cute puss)
Order of the Wyvern (suggestive of Europa Universalis)
Where did you get those images for your flags?
*[Note: there is a tragic story concerning the artist of this flag]
**[Note: Maybe be just a titch careful around this chap]
