Entrenchment slow as hell

I just installed entrenchment today and I'm very aggravated, it feels like the gravity wells are gigantic compared to the previous ones, it takes me what feels like 5 mins to actually scout to the first layer of planets around me, ridiculous, and phase jumps which were previously "short" now take forever to jump.  I knew entrenchment was supposed to be defensive but this is freaking ridiculous, it's a decrease in game speed to a game that's in the "slow as hell" phase to start with, if anything they should've added an increase to gamespeed option to the expansion because everyone runs the game in FAST because it's slow to start with.

I haven't even clicked the link, but I'm pretty sure he's referring a post by one of the SD/IC employees. They state that Entrenchment is really slow and they advise people to play on Fast. They have mentioned they plan on increasing the spead by quite a bit (ie the fast now will be equivalent to the normal speed of the next release kinda thing)
