Game will not run..at all..

Installed this morning on Vista 32, an athlon 6000+ dual core w/ 4 gb of dual channel ddr2 ram (of which i get to use 3 of course) nvidia 7600/512mb pciE video with most current drivers installed. all my device drivers are always updated.

Before running the game I got the impulse and patched up to current and installed the bonus pack.

Try to run the game, it goes to black screen and a different mouse cursor then dings and generates a small dump file message.  I can see that when I initiate task manager and can get at the bottom taskbar but I can't bring anything to the forefront till I end the game process at which point the dump message dissapears also.

 UPDATE...working now.  despite the fact that 'impulse' indicated to me the first time I ran it, that it had installed all updates, I reinitiated it and it found some more updates for the game.  I can at least run it now.  We'll see how it goes.
