ObjectDock running sluggish at times?

I have it set to Hide-offscreen when not in use, but whenever it pops up for me to use or hides when I'm done, it does so in a sluggish manner. In dock settings, under performance options, I have it set to "normal quality" with "optomize for performance" checked. However if I just go to where those settings are (without changing anything) it runs a lot smoother. That fix however is temporary, eventually it gets sluggish again and I have to go back to those settings (again without changing anything) so it'll run smoothly again. Any one know of a permanent fix to a trippy ObjectDock?

Do you have a LOT or Icons on it? is it the Zoomer or the Tab dock or borth

a LOT = like 30 +

that would slow it down.

if you do make a new Z or T dock or more and move some of your Icons to it

I got 6 Tabs 3 on each side and 2 Zoomers both at the Bottom.

My particular machine doesn't deal very will with my adjusting the background transparency.  If you've changed that (in configuration/Appearance - Background - "Transparent>Opaque" slider) you might try moving the slider all the way over to the right (Opaque).
