Star Radius, Map Sizes, Galaxy Sizes

Does anyone have set info on how different settings effect these statistics in game? I have a map with star size of 500 and the default 25000 for galaxy size with like 150 planets but it still show listed in small map size in game. How can i ensure im making a "Huge" map, i.e. does anyone know what the different cut off points are for one size to the next.

Also, i have used the in game editor to adjust phase lane lengths, if you set it too high, it will take like 5 minutes real time to travel from one planet to another. This is one thing for star to star, but SUCKS for in system phase jumps. I simply want to make a huge map but dont want crazy long jump times and want to know about what setting ranges i should be working towards so i dont have to "trial and error" 20 times.

Thanks

Map sized is determined by the number of players not by the number of planets. So if their are suposed to be more players make sure you properly setup the home worlds. A properly setup homeworld will have homeworld brakets around it.

So if i make a map of say the default 25,000 with a default 100 star radius it will scale to size depending on how many players (home planets) i create and will still allow me to place 100+ stars? I mostly just want to make sure the spacing is right so i dont have to readjust everything due to having to resize star radius / map sizes
