ok well i play the game with everything on highest, screen res at 1680x1050 and was getting 60 fps before the 1.11 patch (with the 1.05) so is there anyplace i can get it since i cant find a download online as i think impulse is the only way u can get it. thanks for the help

Impulse is the only way to go as stated in the manual in the game box when people bought it.
