Tkins gave me an idea, and i didnt know if i could do it, but was able to get the phasegate stabilizer portals, and the ability that uses the portals over to the other two races, the advent and the tech. It includes a beefed up light frigate for the tech that will now carry combat turrets and upgraded armor and shields, as well as mobile defense and mercy ships (healers) for the tech. I added the phase gate ability and a  disable ability to the frigate colony ship, so check it out and hope you like it.  :)  Take care and have a good night,

 3.1  Update  !!   I added spawnable ships for the Tec as well now, so the Tec and Advent are about evenly balanced against each other. The Vasari were so powerful anyway before that the Tec and Advent are about even with them now, so it should make for some interesting gameplay.  :)

Justin, thanks for resurrecting me man, i really appreciate that!!   :)  haha, take a look at my healers, they use the psi repair ability.  :)  Way cool!!  With that and the shieldrestore it makes an awesome combination!!  :)  haha, just teasing you, but its in there.  :)

3.2 update

Okie, second edit, sorry about that, long day today, haha, anyway, there was a spelling error in the "Doom" package that is launched by turret1 from the tech frigate carrier.  So i corrected it, tested it and now everything is okie.  :)

I can't tell you what's in the "Doom" package, but ask you to look in the tech frigate carrier and see for yourself.  :)  Haha, it's sorta a game buster, way OP, but its still fun, and there is only one ship that has it, so it is sorta... fair.  :)

 

3.4 UPdate  -  Sorry for the large caps, but wanted everyone to know which version to get.

i added the vasari hyperspace research to the advent tree, and added a mercy turret to balance out the doom turret i made earlier. In addition most ships will now carry two guns, with different ranges that allows for more ship movement in battle instead of the mostly static battles we have had before, that is care of a modder in the forums who explained it, and it works wonderfully!!  Thank you!! Also the fleetbeacon for the advent and tech was giving errors and i changed it out with the spawnable ships in the phase stabilizer for both the tech and the advent.

Fighters and bombers get two guns as well, with different ranges, beams and missiles for the bombers and beams and lasers for the fighters. The number of strikecraft that the capital carrier, frigate carrier and hangar defense now carry has been increased to 20.

Frigate Factories get new support abilities to replace the spawnable ships i moved to the stabilizers.

Check each of your ships and the abilities, i have added and changed some, the Capitals of course remain the same.

But i did this originally to experiment with the frigates and to see how different abilities affected how they played in battle. :)  I have come to love my little mercy ships and the domination cover that the mobile defense give. :)  Haha,

Anyway i have played this over the last several days and it is stable, no more errors that i can find. Anyway, i will stop updating this for a few weeks and take a break, but hope everyone likes it!!  :)  Take care and see ya in the forums!! Keep Modding!!

*Kills Teal for also having created healer ships ;)! I should show you mine stats to compare both their area of expertise (well mine is not necessarily a healer but more a protector..for search and rescue missions! Tried it in game..awesome when you do manage to effectively evacuate!!

Correction:    Soor and Justin, please update to 3.4    The 3.1 and 3.2 updates have a spelling error in the "doom" turret that the tech frigate carrier uses and it will crash, and the fleetbeacon call from the phase stabilizer.

i had AbilityCombatTurret1, when it should have been AbilityDeployCombatTurret1 in the call line for the ability. Anyway, i found it and corrected it, so the tech frigate carrier now launches the turret ok, with no errors or crashes. Thank goodness!!  The "Doom" package is fun, more than a little OP but still fun, you can disable it, or change out the ability that the frigate carrier uses if you like, Support abilities might be a good call, like BoostMorale, ShieldRestore and since the Tec really dont use a anti-matter restore, maybe the stealantimmatter and transferantimatter abilities as well. It is the only hole that i can see, where the tech dont have an edge that the advent do. Anyway, this would make them both equal.

The vasari i left alone, as they seemed to be pretty powerful to begin with, but we will see, playing the mod longer will of course show up such shortages.

Anyway, get 3.4 on my main page and you will be fine. Have fun and let me know what you think, please, :

Teal, you should combine all of you mods into one giant one.  People could use it as a base for their own Sins mods.
