No, that's "retrained out of the company". Actually, depending on how the mistake happened, and what the guy menat to be doing, I wouldn't necessarily fire the guy - I would go all kinds of drill-sergeant on him, and make sure everyone knows to be careful messing around with whatever this guy was messing around with. It's a "crappy day" mistake, not a firing mistake.

Unless you are guaranteed that your machien will not crash/hang/power down/lose power, your should save early, save often.
