They would still be on your computer but you would not be able to apply them because of the the trial time limit.
hmmm..i ask because i already paid for an upgrade to my virus software..and im not inclined to use my credit card all the time online... is the fee of 19.95 really worth it i ask myself?
That's a question only you can answer.
I started out using the trial version of WindowBlinds. I now have a subscription to Object Desktop Ultimate and WinCustomize.
Since you just got the trial version, use the heck out of it. Go through the Gallery Libraries and take a look at one called Screen Shots. It's a library where members post how they have custmized thier desktop. It will give you a very good idea of what can be done.
Check out the following link also. It's to the WinCustomize Wiki. It explains most if not all the programs available and has some tutorials. http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/Main_Page
After you have done that then go over to this link. https://www.stardock.com/index.asp
After doing all of that I think you might find an answer to your question. ![]()
Oh absolutely... worth every penny and more. However, for an extra $30 - $40, you can get a more complete desktop experience with ObjectDesktop (Standard or Ultimate), which includes WindowBlinds and several other apps to completely customize the way your desktop looks and feels. Is it worth it? Yup, every penny and more, but like Philly said, only you can decide if you can afford it, whether you want to spend the money or not.
In the meantime, howver, enjoy your 30 day trial of WindowBlinds and do as Philly suggests, go to the galleries and take a look at what is possible with the software Stardock produces, it's pretty amazing stuff. ![]()
i read that WB uses less resource and memory..i need every bit as i do GFX on pdn on the side
That is correct... Windowblinds has a lower resource footprint than the Windows default theme engine, in both XP and Vista. ![]()
ah that is good to hear. thx all for replies. ![]()
